 228AC Condenser
The Lintern line-up of severe-duty condenser units has been engineered
to utilize environmentally acceptable refrigerants and compatible lubricants.
The 228 condenser is flexible for split applications, and also is ideal
where the application requires a single, self-contained unit. The
228 condenser is widely used for crane cabs and other
enclosures to cool and protect personnel and equipment when married
with the appropriate evaporator section.
Designed for applications where ambient operating temperatures range
from 80°F (26°C) to 160°F (71°C), with occasional peaks
to 180°F (82°C), and where equipment may be exposed to dirty
and corrosive environments or high vibration.

The 228AC offers these unique features and benefits:

Heavy-Duty Frame Construction: 14-Gauge
epoxy painted mild steel welded frame for greater durability and corrosion
resistance in industrial environments. Optional embossed 304 or 316
stainless steel frames.

Wide Fin Spacing: Condenser coil is 6 fins per
inch (4.2 mm) heavy gauge hardened aluminum alloy fins 0.0095 (0.251mm)
and copper tubes.
Allows for maintenance-free operation in dirty environments.

Corrosion Protection: Complete 304 stainless steel
frame with epoxy coated condenser coil as a standard.

Compressor: Bitzer
octagon semi-hermetic reciprocating compressor. Very low possibility
of leaks. Quiet operation. Optional Bitzer open-drive, belt-driven reciprocating
compressor. Precision-machined for extremely low vibration and operated
at reduced speed to ensure the highest reliability. Positive oil pressurization
pump.

Refrigerants: Designed for operation with the following
environmentally acceptable refrigerants: HCFC-124, HFC-134a, HCFC-401A
(MP-39).

Capacity: 11,500 - 23,000 BTUH (3.4kW - 6.7kW)
with 80°F (27°C). Capacity can vary depending on refrigerant
type, evaporator selection, blower option and return air temperature.
