CED-260 Condensate Evaporator

 

The Lintern CED-260 single-tank condensate evaporator is designed for applications on overhead traveling cranes, working over products or equipment that can be damaged by falling air conditioner condensate. Lintern unique condensate evaporator control system gives operators early warning of potential condensate failure.

The tank liquid level sensor detects water level, activating the heater elements in the condensate evaporator. The liquid level sensor is enclosed in a slosh tube and wired to a 30-second time delay, to eliminate heater contactor chatter during crane movement. A high water level sensor will activate a red light and shut the air conditioner down through an air conditioner interlock relay. Each condensate evaporator tank is equipped with an over-temperature thermostat to protect heater elements from burning out.

The CED-260 offers these unique features and benefits:

  • Single Tank System: 316 stainless steel 16 gauge with all seams continuously welded. Equipped with 3/4" FPT (19mm) port. a 3/8" FPT (9.5mm) clean out drain is standard.

  • Capacity: 6 kW (9 lbs./hr) 1 GPH (7.6LPH)

  • Heater Elements: Two heavy incoloy sheath tubular elements.

  • Voltage: All industrial voltages available.

  • Controls: Remote mounted panel. Float sensor for high water level and shut down of air conditioner.

  • Weight: Tank: 30 lbs. (13.6kg) Panel: 40lbs. (18 kg)
